Limerick
regeneration agencies begin work today
By Barry

The state agencies
set up to revitalise two deprived areas of Limerick are due
to begin their work in earnest today.
The move comes exactly
12 months after the horrific attack that saw two children suffer
severe burns when their family car was firebombed in Moyross.
That incident prompted
the setting up of two separate agencies to drive economic and
social regeneration in Moyross and Southhill.
Brendan Kenny, the
man overseeing the initiative, is calling on local residents
to come forward with ways to develop the two areas.
