There were two independent residents groups in the designated regeneration area of Ballinacurra Weston (parts of).

Weston Gardens Residents' Association (WGRA) in Rosbrien and the Ballinacurra Weston Residents' Alliance (BWRA). Unfortunately the BWRA became defunct when it failed to establish a committee at its AGM on 29 January 2015.

The WGRA was formed in 2003 and had worked with Limerick City Council to develop plans for the regeneration of their small estate, which were shelved with the advent of the Regeneration Agencies.

The BWRA was formed in 2010 following the collapse of the Agency-established residents forum. The vast majority of residents in the designated regeneration area joined the BWRA, which actively campaigned for their rights to be upheld.
